Barbera d’Alba is a red that goes perfectly with mixed boiled meats, roasts and aged cheeses. At sight it is bright and of an intense red. The nose is fine, winy and fruity with notes of liquorice and ripe berries. In the mouth it is balanced, with very intense, decidedly fruity aftertaste sensations. Medium- bodied, vivid and juicy, with marked acidity and powdery tannins. It’s sharp and focused, with a chalky finish. To pair with stuffed pasta, bollito misto, arrosti and mature cheeses.

VINIFICATION
Destemming-crushing - Controlled temperature fermentation at 25°C – average maceration time of about 15 days in steel tanks. Maturation of about 10 months in tonneaux and barriques of second passage. Minimum 6 months in bottle before release.
FEATURES
At the sight it is a bright and intense red. The bouquet is fine, vinous and fruity with a hint of liquorice that adds interest. In the mouth it is balanced, with very intense retro-olfactory sensations, decidedly fruity. Longevity over 10 years.
